Women2Lead

A Leadership Development Program

Brandon Hall Group Gold Award · Best Leadership Development for Women

A global program for top-performing women leaders at Konica Minolta. I was the global lead: I designed the end-to-end journey, facilitated the sessions, and built the development-plan and coaching work that ran alongside it. This walkthrough covers how it was made and what it changed.

What the walkthrough covers

This is the design story rather than a highlight reel, so it follows the same order the work did:

  • The business context that called for the program in the first place.
  • The design decisions behind a nine-month modular journey, built with IMD as a strategic co-design partner.
  • How we measured behavior change rather than satisfaction.
  • What the results showed.

What I did

I held a key design and implementation role as the program’s global lead. I designed the end-to-end journey myself — the modules and their sequence, the individual development plan rollout, and the coaching activities that ran alongside it — and I facilitated and led sessions throughout rather than handing the design over for someone else to deliver. IMD came in as a strategic co-design partner.

How it was built

The program runs as in-person modules, with the real work happening between them. Participants move through assessments, an individual development plan, structured reflection, and peer learning, so that each module lands on something they have already been practicing rather than starting cold. Around forty women leaders worldwide have come through it.

Recognition

Women2Lead won a Gold Award at the Brandon Hall Group Excellence Awards in the Best Leadership Development for Women category — an outside assessment of the program rather than our own reporting on it.

The posts themselves

Rather than summarize what people said, here are the posts. Each card opens the real post in place — nothing loads from LinkedIn until you ask for it.

Elsewhere

Beyond the posts above: company announcements, an employer-brand feature written by a participant, and the trade press picking the program up.

The other piece in this showcase is an interactive course you can click through yourself, along with the design thinking behind it.
